LZ1535 Erbium Glass Laser Transmitter
LZ1535-10Hz-8ns-1000uJ-40mm
1000 uJ at 10 Hz, 8 ns
The 1 mJ flagship transmitter: maximum energy for counter-UAV and long-range lidar. Passively Q-switched erbium glass gives a pulse with no tail, and the 1535 nm wavelength sits in the eye-safe band, so it can be used at far higher energy than a 905 nm source in the same application.
Estimated range
- Retro-reflective target19.0 km
- Diffuse terrain6.3 km
Range figures are engineering estimates for a matched-filter receiver, 36 mm receive aperture and 90 % optical efficiency. See the range equation article for the full derivation.
Every parameter on this page is transcribed from the manufacturer datasheet.
